Photographer
Hi! My name is Emily Dozois. I was born in Napanee, but I have lived in Osgoode for most of my life. I am the oldest of four children and love being around kids. I bought myself a point and shoot camera for my 15th birthday and never looked back! When I was in high school I was lucky enough to shadow my photography teacher at a few weddings, and when I graduated I started shooting on my own.
I love weddings, and not just because of the food. I like to capture the whole day – from getting ready to dancing barefoot in the dark. The special moments pass so quickly, and I love making sure you can remember them forever.
Photographing your family is special for me. I love getting genuine smiles and emotion from kids by playing and being goofy. I also never really grew up, which makes working with kids super fun and easy!

Emily has become my go to photographer. She connects with my son every time to get the perfect shot.
I have received an abundance of photos through Emily and couldn’t be happier! She is always open to new locations to get the exact shot I was wanting. (Walking through thick mud, water, climbing trees, or driving around to ten different locations just to get the right background). She can change her style to what I want, whether it’s warm family photos or light and airy fall photos. Emily has always given great direction during the shoots so that all the photos seem natural. I am always so excited and never patient enough to receive my photos afterwards!
Emily is a wonderfully talented photographer. Her pictures are beautiful. She made my family feel comfortable and relaxed the second we met. She’s very calm and patient with children. I would recommend her to anyone. You’d be lucky to have her capture your memories!
We run a theatre group for children, and have been lucky enough to have Emily as our show time photographer, for many years!
She shows incredible kindness, along with her artistic skills. Capturing all the wonderful moments of our productions, from the kids in the green room, right up until the final performance. Parents love the results, and she has a knack of seeing, and capturing all the best moments from our shows. We would certainly wholeheartedly recommend her!
I have had Emily photograph my family on numerous occasions. She did both my girls newborn pictures. Family pictures. And attended both my girls first birthdays as our photographer. Her pictures are truly magical. She has an ability to capture moments that you don’t even realize are moments until you seen them in a picture. Our house is full of framed memories that Emily has given us. Her editing is phenomenal. Her customer service is unlike any other photographer I have worked with. I can’t recommend her enough.
Emily has taken some great Christmas photos of my self and my two children, she took some in black and white and others in colour which all turned out fabulous. A very talented photographer, I highly recommend her services!
